Frequently Asked Questions
What do you need to start working on my children’s book illustration?
I need a detailed description of each page, including character details (age, clothing, expressions), background elements, story flow, and the preferred size of the pages. If you have any reference images, they are welcome too!
What format will the final illustrations be delivered in?
I provide high-resolution (300 DPI) print-ready files in JPEG, PNG, and PDF formats. If you need a specific format, please let me know in advance.
Do you provide source files for the illustrations?
Yes! I can provide source files (PSD, AI, or Procreate files) upon request. However, this may come with an additional cost.
How long does it take to complete an illustration?
Typically, it takes 2-4 days per page, depending on the complexity of the scene and details required. If you have a tight deadline, I also offer express delivery options.
Can you illustrate characters based on my ideas or real-life references?
Absolutely! I can create custom characters based on your vision, description, or real-life references. Just share the details, and I’ll bring them to life!
Do you offer revisions?
Yes! I offer unlimited minor revisions to ensure you are satisfied. Major changes, like complete character redesigns, may require an additional fee.
Can you illustrate books with diverse characters (African American, Asian, etc.)?
Yes! I am experienced in creating diverse and inclusive illustrations, including African American, Asian, and multicultural characters.
Do you design book covers as well?
Yes! I can design eye-catching children’s book covers that match the illustration style of your book.
Will I own the full rights to the illustrations?
By default, you receive commercial rights to use the illustrations in your book. However, full copyright ownership can be purchased separately.
